Dr. Eric R. Norell

Dr. Eric Norell

Dr. Norell is a lifelong resident of central Illinois. He received his Bachelor Of Arts degree in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Norell completed internships at the Illinois Eye Institute and Sydney-Hillman Health Center. Dr. Norell’s areas of interest include specialty contact lenses and ocular disease management.

He joined Dr. Rieger’s practice in 2011 and purchased the practice from her at the end of 2014.¬† While renaming the practice to Central Illinois Eyecare, LLC, Dr. Norell is dedicated to continuing the high level of care for all patients that Dr. Rieger had established.

Dr. Norell is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association including the Cornea and Contact Lens Section and the Illiniois Society for the Prevention of Blindness. Dr. Norell resides in Normal with his wife and two children.

Dr. Norell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
